Antonio Gelonesi - Non Executive Director

Antonio is one of the most respected climate change experts in the world. He was the Global Head of Deloitte and Touche Global Team on Climate Change Strategy from 1999 to 2004 a team spanning 14 countries with over 75 professionals. He is a World Bank Auditor for Carbon Credits, an appointed verifier for GGAP funding by the Australian Government and has spoken at over 44 conferences on climate change worldwide.

In addition to his climate change experience he brings 25 years financial markets experience to the firm. He has worked in all major global financial centers. Specialist on the Global commercialization strategy of business he has fund raised in every major financial centre in the world.

He was the youngest Treasurer of a merchant bank in Australia. Founded Green House Capital and Bellatrix Energy in 2004. Executive Chairman of Libertas Capital Asia from 2005 – 2006. Now an Associate Director of the Global Environmental Group in Denmark on Climate Change and current committee member of the World Business Council Sustainable Development, World Bank, Carbon Prototype Fund and Deloitte Global Environmental Practice in Denmark.

Ben Strachan – Managing Director

Ben founded Auscarbon International in early 2006 when it became clear that Australian business needed real solutions to climate change. He has been an owner, investor and director in a wide range of commercial ventures.

He is a keen environmentalist and brings substantial managerial and leadership experience to the company from his business background.
Graduate from the Royal Military College Duntroon, he has led Strachan Research a prominent market research organization as Managing Director from 1994 to its sale in 2005. Currently a partner in AI Research which consults to some of Australia’s largest corporations.
Ben has degrees in Economics and Arts from the Australian National University and is a member of the Institute of Company Directors.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley – Non Executive Director

Kerri-Anne Kennerley brings a wealth of media and business experience to the company. She has interviewed world leaders, sporting icons and show business superstars on air for over 40 years and has recently completed her 1000 television show.

Australia woke up with Kerri-Anne for eleven years on Good Morning Australia, had lunch with her for three years on Midday With Kerri-Anne, and listened to her for two years on Radio 2CH. Kerri-Anne currently hosts the successful "Mornings with Kerri-Anne" which is aired daily on Network Nine throughout Australia and New Zealand. Away from the media spotlight, Kerri-Anne is also a highly successful businesswoman and a tireless worker for charities, she brings a wealth of media experience, contacts and energy to Auscarbon International.
